Terms of Service

Last updated 18 October 2026

The short version

1. About these terms

These terms apply when you use deleoneai.com, its assistant, or a De Leone client account, and when you work with De Leone (“De Leone”, “we”, “us”). By using the site or engaging us, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.

2. Using deleoneai.com and the assistant

3. Projects, quotes and changes

Before we start, we agree a written quote or agreement that sets out what we will build, the price, the timeline and how payment works. Changes to the scope after that are agreed in writing and may change the price or the timeline. Timelines depend on you providing the content, access and decisions a project needs when they are needed.

4. Payment and plans

5. Ownership

Once the work for a project is paid for, the website we build for you, its code and its domain are yours, and so is the content you give us. We keep ownership of our own general tools, know-how and any third-party or open-source components, which are provided under their own licences. Unless you ask us not to, we may mention that we built your site, without sharing anything confidential.

6. Your responsibilities

7. Client accounts

A client account lets you follow your projects, approve work, send requests and files, and see invoices. Approvals you give in your account count as your written approval. We may suspend access to protect the service or if these terms are breached, and we will tell you why.

8. Warranties and liability

We build carefully and fix defects in our own work that are reported within the period set in your agreement. Apart from that, and to the extent the law allows, the site and our services are provided “as is”, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits or lost data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the project or service that the claim relates to in the twelve months before it arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Ending the relationship

Either of us may end a project or plan as set out in its agreement. If we stop working together, we hand over what is yours (logins, files and the site), and you pay for work done up to that point.

10. General

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and changes do not affect a signed agreement already in force. If part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
